Happy Monday! This weekend was so busy, but so fun! Friday, I drove to College Station to meet up with my friends, then we drove to Fort Worth for our friend Sarah’s wedding on Saturday morning. After the wedding, we drove back to College Station and I drove back to The Woodlands, where I promptly collapsed on my couch. Then yesterday I went to see my friend Ashley and we ate cheese and watched Simone Biles KILL IT on every apparatus. Olympic gymnastics are just my fave. It makes me wish that I had chosen gymnastics instead of cheerleading as a child. But I digress.
This lemon top is one of my favorite purchases of this whole summer. When these large prints first started popping up, I was a bit scared of them, honestly. I thought they would overwhelm me, but I was wrong! I loved this print so much that I also bought a matching dress. It’s also because I have no self-control and they were both under $20.
This top was “one size fits all”, which worried me, but it actually fit pretty well! It does have straps, but they were way too long, so I just tucked them inside for photos. I may try to fix them later, but I like it just as well off the shoulder!
Also, how cute is this little yellow Adirondack chair? It’s outside of Whole Foods in The Woodlands. My friend Catherine (who takes my pictures) scouted them out, and they matched perfectly! I want one for my own, but unfortunately I live in an apartment so that’s not really practical. Ugh.
I’ll definitely be sad when summer is over and I can’t wear this anymore! But I will absolutely pull it out at the first sign of sweat next year (which if we’re being honest, is all the time in Houston).
That’s all for meow, have a wonderful week!
