This is such an exciting day!! I would like to welcome you all to my new site, K.Moss Lifestyle! I have been working so hard on this for quite some time, and I’m so happy to finally share it with the world.
As you may know, I have been blogging for years on my old site, Sweet Cats!. I’ve loved it, it’s a great creative outlet, and apparently some of you thought it was great, so you read it (and thank you, I hope you read this blog as well!). However, for a few years now, I’ve felt like my blogging game wasn’t quite living up to its full potential. I mean it was cute and fun and a little bit silly (just like me!), but I felt like it wasn’t putting my best foot forward. After literally, actually years, I decided to take a leap of faith and just do it, and I’m so glad I did! This space is something I’m proud of, and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here!
So, what can you expect here on K.Moss Lifestyle? First of all, real life. Contrary to Popular Blogger Belief, life isn’t all peonies and macarons and styled Instagram posts and designer clothing. For me, it’s working 9-5 and making a huge mess in my tiny apartment kitchen and reducing my shopping budget because I went on vacation and no, I sure did not fix my hair for work today. And that’s how life is for most of my friends, too. But, though life may not be perfect, it can still be done well. That’s why I have my three categories: Dress Well, Live Well, and Eat Well. As far as content, it will essentially be the same as it was on Sweet Cats!: recipes, fashion on a budget, lifestyle, and of course all the sass topped off with the occasional Real Housewives reference (do you really think I could give up those last two?). Plus, all of my old posts are here on the new site, so if you want to go find the outfit posts where I had my mom take terrible iPhone photos of me at the top of my stairs, you can do that. But I wish you wouldn’t.
P.S., these massive letter balloons are a good idea in theory, but very difficult to manage for photos, as you can see above. I got KML for K.Moss Lifestyle (and my initials are KLM, so it works), and they were $30. Truth be told: they were not worth it. I mean they’re cute, but they wouldn’t cooperate for pictures and now they’re just sitting in my living room (2.5 weeks later) dying and blocking my TV when I try to watch Southern Charm. I digress. But I still expect them for my birthday, along with Drake on Cake.
Now for the “Thank You’s”: Thanks to my big girl job for sponsoring the purchase of this new endeavor, and everyone who humored my shopping ban for the entire month of June as a result. One week after returning from vacation is NOT the time to pay for starting a blog, so no, there will not be a “spending wisely” post on this blog any time soon. Thank you to Henderson from Bella-B for making my blog dreams come true! I gave her a very wordy yet vague description of what I wanted, and from that she pulled together the beautiful, visual layout that I’m literally obsessed with (head to the home page after you read this post if you haven’t already!). She also was very patient with me changing my mind multiple times, moving the launch date up then back, and my thousands of questions. Not to mention her prices are very affordable! If you’re designing a new site, I definitely recommend working with Henderson! Thank you to my best friends Catherine and Kaydie, for taking my pictures and toting all of my bags and the massive balloons around the Waterway and not getting embarrassed. Y’all are the best, and queso’s on me next time. Last but not least, thank you to everyone reading. I’m so excited you’re here, and I hope you’ll join me for every post! Be sure to follow me on the social medias so you don’t miss anything, or subscribe by email.
That’s all for meow!
