This is a rare Sunday post here on K.Moss Lifestyle, but I just had to share this important information! As I mentioned on Friday, the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale is happening TOMORROW! Some people lose it over the Nordstrom sale, but this is the big one for me. This is how I’ve bought all of my Lilly, aside from the one dress I found at TJMaxx, and I honestly think it’s the way to go. But! It does take a little strategy! Here are my tips for making sure you get what you want!
1. Make an account and update your shipping info beforehand!
According to the website, you won’t be able to do this between 6:30-8 am tomorrow, so go do it now! You have to have an account to check out, and it would be so sad to have your heart set on a shift and not be able to get it!
2. Have an idea of what you want beforehand
Not only will you (maybe) spend less money this way, it helps you get to checkout faster! Just because something’s in your bag, doesn’t mean it’s reserved. It’s only yours once you pay for it! This year, I’m skipping the printed shift (blasphemy, right? I have 4, so I need to like calm down), and am planning on purchasing an Elsa top and a solid shift, like this Valli Dress! Knowing what you’re looking for makes things less stressful!
3. Set your alarm
The way the sale works is by placing you in a “virtual line” when you log onto the site. The sale opens at 8am ET (7 am here in Texas), but you can get get in line before that! I don’t really know what time, just try it when you get up. I am traveling to Austin tomorrow morning for work, but I don’t have to leave until 7:30, so that gives me plenty of time to make my purchases! I plan on waking up super early (not just for the sale, but for my life) and getting in line, then hopefully being able to shop before I hit the road! If I don’t, then don’t talk to me. I may have to pull over somewhere, not a joke. Back in January, I was late to work because I wasn’t able to get in until 8:45 (but only like 5-10 minutes late, promise), and last August I couldn’t get in early enough and I had to leave, so I shopped on my phone at my desk. No shame. Do what you need to do.
4. Don’t panic
Apparently, they will be adding more to the sale on Tuesday, so if you aren’t able to get what you want, try again on Tuesday! Or if you forget something and don’t want to wait in line again.
I hope everyone gets some wonderful Lilly! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
That’s all for meow!
