It’s here!! I’m particularly excited about this Friday, because it’s the start of my Birthday Week! My birthday isn’t until Wednesday the 3rd, but I’m going to see my family this weekend to celebrate with them. We always go to my favorite restaurant in Tyler, and I just eat all the queso and it is a fabulous day and I cannot wait for this event. Anyways, this week has kind of slipped away before I knew it! Here’s what I’m loving this week:
1. A Sassy Tee
This shirt. I need it. Someone send it to me for my birthday. I love LaCroix, and I don’t even know any boys, so this is very appropriate for my life. Also, I Snapchatted this to my friend Kinsey when I found it and she told me she’d never tried LaCroix, which is just a tragedy. I told her that she had to try it STAT, and if you haven’t either, please go get some. My favorite flavors are coconut, peach-pear, and sometimes lime. Sometimes. I also told my boss just this week that “LaCroix is my life”, so that’s where I’m at in life. Send help.
I’m a little late sharing this, but Day Designer, a line of agendas that I’ve always loved, collaborated with Blue Sky and brought their products down to my price range at our favorite place to waste money and time: Target. God Bless. The thing that’s always appealed to me about Day Designer is the hour-by-hour breakdown of each day, and a place to write the day’s top three tasks. It’s great for people who plan excessively, as well as people who have to write everything down in priority order or they will just not get anything done. Somehow, I fit into both of those categories, so this system obviously works well for me. I have the Weekly/Monthly layout in the above navy & white stripes, and have been using it at work for almost a month! It’s definitely helped me prioritize and stay on track!
3. Cheese, Please!
You may have seen this on my Instagram this weekend, but I made a cheese plate for dinner Saturday night and it was fabulous. I was inspired by Gaby from What’s Gaby Cooking after she showed us all how to make a cheese plate on Snapchat. Check out her blog post on how to make an awesome cheese plate! I’ve always wanted to make a cheese plate, but I thought it would be just crazy expensive. However, after watching Gaby’s snaps, I discovered that Trader Joe’s is just the Cheap Charcuterie Champion. I mean, I still spent like $30, but I have a lot of cheese left, and that day I did not care because some rude person hit my car in the mall parking lot and fled and now I have to get it fixed and after that I decided I deserved at the very least some fancy cheese. But I digress.
4. GIF of the week
Me when I realize that The Bachelorette finale is Monday but it’s also three hours and I’m too old to stay up that late. Also, I miss Olivia. She was one of a kind.
That’s all for meow-have a great weekend!
