Happy Friday! I feel like we were just here! Which is always a good thing. This has been a strange week, honestly. And by strange I just mean not routine. Monday night, I stayed out until like 11 because I went to watch The Bachelorette at my friend Kaydie’s house after Bible study, which kind of threw me off because I’m not used to staying out that late anymore. Old. Then Wednesday night my parents were in town which made it seem like the weekend except it definitely was not because I had to go to work the next day. Oh, I also got my over-21 driver’s license this week, so it’s horizontal instead of vertical and I feel like my youth is over.
I digress. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
1. Halo Top
So this past Saturday, I decided that I had to have a pizza for dinner, so I went to the grocery store to gather my ingredients. Also, I will not be sharing this recipe, because in theory, it sounded good, but it was actually really not that great, which was so sad and such a waste of fresh mozzarella. But anyways, while I was there, I decided I wanted ice cream. Unfortunately, they don’t make the new Blue Bell flavor, Texas Two-Step, in pints, and I could not justify buying an entire gallon of ice cream for myself. So I wandered down then ice cream aisle and came across Halo Top. I’d heard mixed reviews, and read that article about the girl who ate only Halo Top for like a week, and was interested to try it out! Clearly, I chose birthday cake, and it was SO delicious! The best part is that it’s only 280 calories for the whole pint, is gluten free, and has protein, so it’s definitely a healthier choice! Now, I’m no longer able to polish off a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting as I once could in my prime (ahem, college), so it’s even less than 280 calories per serving for me! It’s a little pricey, but if you’re looking for a sweet treat that you don’t have to feel guilty about, I would suggest it!
2. Email Subscribers
Just a little housekeeping here! I’ve noticed that quite a few of you have subscribed to receive post updates by email- thank you! However, I’ve also noticed that many of you haven’t confirmed your email address, so you’re probably not getting those emails, and we all know “I didn’t get your email” is the worst excuse on the planet. Please check your Junk/Spam folder and confirm your email, or let me know if you didn’t receive a confirmation email and I’ll try to figure it out! If you haven’t subscribed and want K.Moss Lifestyle delivered straight to you on MWF (and more often hopefully soon!), sign up right below my bio in the sidebar to your right! And be sure to confirm your email!
3. Latest Brand Obsession
This top that you may or may not have seen enough of is from C/MEO Collective, which is my latest obsession. They have so many great pieces on Lyon + Post (my not-so-current-yet-still-pending obsession), and I quickly fell in love with the bright colors, unique silhouettes, and signature triangle cut-outs. Not to mention they’re super high quality, well-made pieces. I’m loving this top, this romper, and this dress. Last week I was shopping at Dillard’s and I spotted a few racks of C/MEO in the store! I was more excited than the time I found Peach Pear LaCroix in my HEB. Now, I will say, it’s way out of my budget. But I also know that everything at Dillard’s will eventually go on sale, so you’ve just got to be strategic about it. You can also find plenty of marked down pieces on Lyon + Post! I bought another C/MEO top for my birthday which I should be sharing here soon, and you will love! I like, lost my mind over it, and I shouldn’t have bought it but I did. Here we are again.
4. GIF of the Week
Real Housewives of New Jersey is BACK and I watched the first two episodes this week! My favorite part was not the Return of Tre, it was Milania Giudice screaming at the paparazzi out the front door and sleeping under a couch during the New Year’s Eve party. That child is truly the star of the show.
That’s all for meow! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
